Daniel Irvin joined Free Flow Power as one of its founders in 2007. He became CEO in 2008 and Chairman of the board in 2009. Prior to joining Free Flow Power, Mr. Irvin had 25 years experience in investment banking in the areas of public infrastructure and project finance. His experience includes arranging over $50 billion of debt and equity, financing hundreds of infrastructure projects. Mr. Irvin was formerly head of Municipal Sales, Trading, Underwriting and a member of the Fixed Income Executive Committee and the Board at UBS Investment Bank. He has a BA in Economics from Princeton University.

Chairman, FFP Development LLC, a subsidiary of Free Flow Power Corporation
Brigadier General (Retired) Robert Crear joined Free Flow Power in 2008. He is the former Commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Mississippi Valley Division and President of the Mississippi Valley Commission, a Presidential appointment. He led the infrastructure restoration after hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and he was the commander of the task force to restore Iraq’s oil infrastructure in 2003. General Crear also served as Chief of Staff to the Commander of the Corps. He has a BS from Jackson State and an MS from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.

J. Mark Robinson joined Free Flow Power’s Advisory Board in 2009. He is the former Director of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Office of Energy Projects where he was responsible for licensing and oversight of hydropower, transmission, natural gas pipelines and storage and LNG terminals.
HENRY DORMITZER
President and Chief Financial Officer, Member of the Board of Free Flow Power Corporation
Henry Dormitzer joined Free Flow Power in 2008 as Chief Financial Officer and was appointed President of the firm in 2010. Prior to joining Free Flow Power he was Massachusetts’ Commissioner of Revenue, where he led Governor Deval Patrick’s corporate tax reform initiative. Prior to joining the Patrick Administration, Mr. Dormitzer was a Managing Director at UBS. He has 18 years in infrastructure, project and tax-advantaged finance. Mr. Dormitzer has a BA in Physical Sciences from Harvard College.

Chris Williams was a founder of Free Flow Power, served as Chief Technology Officer until 2010 and currently serves on the Board of Directors. He was responsible for leading the design team that developed Free Flow Power’s first generation hydrokinetic turbine generator system, which was built and tested at Alden Labs in April 2008. Mr. Williams has 30 years experience founding technology companies and managing multidisciplinary engineering teams. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
RAMYA SWAMINATHAN
Chief Operating Officer
Ramya Swaminathan joined Free Flow Power in 2008 as the head of the regulatory group. She was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2010. Ms. Swaminathan leads the firm’s development activities and serves on the board of FFP New Hydro LLC, the principal affiliate engaged in developing new hydropower on existing dams in the US. Prior to joining Free Flow Power, Ms. Swaminathan was a Director in UBS’ Public Power Group, engaged in managing public debt issuance for power infrastructure. Ms. Swaminathan has 14 years experience arranging debt and equity financing for a broad range of infrastructure projects. She has a BA in Public Policy from Amherst College and a MA in Public Policy from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.

Jason Hines joined Free Flow Power in 2008 with the firm’s acquisition of Black Brook Environmental, a development and consulting firm he founded in 1992. He has primary responsibility for the design of Free Flow Power’s conventional hydropower projects and leads many of our development initiatives. Mr. Hines has 25 years of experience in hydropower development, project evaluation, design, and construction. He has been involved in developing over 100 hydropower projects. Mr. Hines’ experience also includes water treatment facilities, thermal generation and water control structures.

Executive Vice President of Marketing and Trading
Paul Jacob joined Free Flow Power in March of 2011 to lead Marketing and Trading. Mr. Jacob focuses on enhancing the value of Free Flow Power’s developments based on opportunities in the power and ancillary markets. He brings 20 years of energy market experience to the company with a track record of driving growth in asset management, sales, marketing and proprietary trading. Mr. Jacob was most recently, President of Edison Mission Marketing and Trading with responsibility for maximizing revenue from 10,000 MW of wind and thermal generation. He established one of the first independent electricity marketing and trading organizations in the US and was a senior manager of Citizens Lehman Power. Mr. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Daniel Lissner joined Free Flow Power in 2008 as the firm’s General Counsel. In addition to his responsibilities as General Counsel, he has primary responsibility for Free Flow Power’s regulatory, stakeholder outreach and public policy strategies. Prior to joining Free Flow Power, Mr. Lissner’s experience included 7 years experience in civil litigation with Boyle, Morrissey & Campo and as Suffolk County Assistant District Attorney. He has a BA from the University of Texas and a JD from the University of Virginia.

Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Engineering
Edward Lovelace joined Free Flow Power in 2009 and was appointed Chief Technology Officer in 2010. He has led the team responsible for developing the most recent generation of Free Flow Power’s hydrokinetic turbine generator, which began generating electricity in 2010 and is currently deployed on the Mississippi River. Prior to joining Free Flow Power, Dr. Lovelace was Director of Engineering Development at Satcon, a major power conversion company. He has 21 years experience as a mechanical and electrical engineer, with particular expertise in rim-driven rotating motor-generator technology. Dr. Lovelace has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Vice President of Project Development
Maureen Winters joined Free Flow Power in June of 2011. Ms. Winters has 26 years of experience in regulatory and environmental affairs. For the past 16 years she has worked exclusively in the hydroelectric industry providing FERC licensing, due diligence and project development services. She has held positions as a FERC licensing project manager at three major consulting firms in the hydroelectric industry, and as Northeast Regional Manager for Devine, Tarbell and Associates. Ms. Winters currently serves as co-chair of the National Hydropower Association’s Small Hydro Council, and previously chaired its Public Affairs Committee for three terms. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies from Unity College.

Matt Tibolt joined Free Flow Power in 2009, prior to which he was a Senior Mechanical Engineer for General Compression, an innovative wind turbine generator company. Prior to General Compression he was an engineer with General Electric. Mr. Tibolt has 25 years experience as a mechanical engineer with particular experience designing rotating motor generator systems. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Jeff Grebe joined Free Flow Power in 2010. He has 20 years experience in mechanical and electrical engineering. Mr. Grebe was formerly President of Mechtric Engineering and Energy Solutions, which provided power generation engineering and construction services with over 1,000 completed projects in the U.S. and internationally. His experience includes development of power generation facilities, including hydropower, solar and conventional generation in the US and overseas. Mr. Grebe holds a BSCE from Colorado State University and is licensed as a professional engineer in the State of Colorado.

Brian Gordon joined in January 2012 to originate offtake opportunities for Free Flow Power’s assets. He brings over 20 years of energy marketing experience in negotiating structured transaction with emphasis in municipals and rural cooperative markets. He has held origination and business development positions at Ameren Energy Marketing, DTE Energy Trading and Fellon-McCord. Mr. Gordon has a B.S in Biochemistry from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a M.B.A from University of Louisville.

Jon Guidroz joined Free Flow Power in 2008 and opened the firm’s New Orleans office in 2009. He is responsible for development of hydrokinetic generation at sites in the lower Mississippi River as well as support for the firm’s other development activities in the US. Prior to joining Free Flow Power, Mr. Guidroz had experience marketing RECs with Evolution Markets. He is a former management consultant and former product spokesman for Proctor and Gamble. Mr. Guidroz has a BA in International Relations from George Washington University.

Elvir Mujanovic worked at Free Flow Power as a summer intern in 2010 and joined the firm as Associate Director of Finance in July 2011. Mr. Mujanovic has 4 years experience structuring tax-exempt mortgage backed bonds at UBS and Merrill Lynch. Mr. Mujanovic has a BS inFinance and Accounting from Northeastern University and an MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Daniel Stuard joined Free Flow Power in March of 2011. He previously worked in the University of Washington's Structural Engineering Laboratory as a Lab Technician, helping to construct and test full size and scaled structural engineering experiments. Mr. Stuard has a BA and an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington.

Reinaldo Morales joined Free Flow Power in 2010. He has 10 years experience in hydraulic modeling for hydropower, flood control, stream bank protection, water distribution, and scour. Dr. Morales has a BS in Civil Engineering from Universidad Tecnologica de Panama, an MS in Hydraulic Engineering from the University of Iowa, and a PhD in Hydraulic Engineering from the University of Wyoming.

Cao Kang joined Free Flow Power in August 2011. He has more than 10 years experiences in GIS software engineering and advanced Spatial Analyses and Modeling. Prior to join Free Flow Power, Dr. Kang had worked in IDRISI, Clark Labs for 7 years as Software Architect and Software Engineer. He holds a B.E. degree in Information Engineering and L.L.B. degree in Law from Wuhan University, and a Ph.D. degree from Clark University.

Paul Phillips joined Free Flow Power in 2009. He is responsible for GIS and CAD modeling. He has 30 years experience in technical support for project design and management. Mr. Phillips is a former GIS Manager at Louis Berger, where he was responsible for database management and GIS dataset development for hydropower projects. He has a BS from Northeast Institute of Industrial Technology.

Jack Batchelder joined Free Flow Power in 2010. He has 20 years experience as a fisheries biologist and project manager in the aquaculture and aquarium industries. Mr. Batchelder is a former NOAA senior scientist, focusing on resource protection. He has a BA in Biology from Connecticut College.

James Hamski joined Free Flow Power in 2010. He was previously with Louis Berger in its Energy Practice Group for three years as an environmental planner, specializing in water resources.
