Rockaway Pumped Storage Project

The Rockaway Pumped Storage Project is located in Morris County, in Northern New Jersey, partially on the U.S. Army’s Picatinny Arsenal lands. This Project will utilize an underground mine as its lower reservoir and an abandoned quarry as its upper reservoir. This Project has a nameplate capacity of 1,000 MW.
