Kaskaskia Lock and Dam is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers structure that was constructed to regulate navigation on the Kaskaskia River in Southwestern Illinois, near the Kaskaskia’s confluence with the Mississippi River. This Project has a nameplate capacity of 8 MW and will generate 28 GWh annually.
