Julian Griggs Dam Project

Julian Griggs Dam is located on the Scioto River in Columbus, Ohio, and is owned and operated by the City of Columbus. The Griggs Reservoir behind the dam is a major source of drinking water for the City of Columbus, and the creation of the Reservoir to provide a source of drinking water was the primary reason for the dam’s construction. FFP anticipates that the Julian Griggs Water Power Project will have a nameplate capacity of 2 MW and will generate 12.3 GWh annually.
